End of Year Message from NCDXF
Dear Fellow DXer:
NCDXF helps make DX happen. Between Visalia 2014 and Visalia 2015, NCDXF-sponsored DXpeditions put 400,000 QSOs into DXer’s logs. During the same period we funded $175,000 in DXpedition grants. We are proud to be able to offer this enabling financial assistance to bold and talented DXpeditioners who are out there activating the rare ones we all need.
Here is some great news for 2016. Five of the ten most-wanted DXCC entities will be activated during the next six months. These are the most expensive sorts of DXpeditions to mount, so it will not surprise you that NCDXF sponsors each of these teams. We granted a total of $145,000 to these projects.
The mission of NCDXF is to provide necessary financial support for well-organized DXpeditions to rare, difficult, expensive DXCC entities. We pursue this goal by thoroughly vetting each grant application and ensuring, as much as we can, the success of each DXpedtion or other project we choose to fund. During our 43 years of operation we have granted well over $1 million to hundreds of major DXpeditions.
Help us continue the tradition.
